Micro-Transit

The City of Dublin has a vision to become the most sustainable, connected and resilient global city of choice. In support of this vision, Dublin has undertaken a number of innovative transportation initiatives to expand mobility options throughout the city including the Dublin Connector, which launched as a pilot micro-transit program in 2019 and has served the community since. The Dublin Connector helps address first-and-last-mile access issues for employees throughout Dublin, as well as providing service to residents who are 55 years or older or those with disabilities.

As the Central Ohio region grows, adding a more robust micro-transit system in Dublin is an important step in expanding current transportation options. The continued need to link employees to jobs, both within Dublin and coming from outside city limits, is vital. There is also a growing need for regional access to Dublin’s educational and medical facilities.
